There are yearly events to celebrate the art of catching crab by the Belcarra pier. However, if you aren’t here for these dates, you may crab fish whenever. All you will need is a tidal fishing license along with some traps.

The best time to crab fish is around two hours after low tide when the crabs are moving out with the water. There are always others at the pier crab fishing, so if you are new, you can find help from locals.
