Eagle Creek Site
The Eagle Creek Site is a great little detour for a picnic lunch. It also has a boat launch for extra convenience.
The Arrow Lakes Provincial Park has several sites scattered along the Upper and Lower Arrow Lakes Reserve System. The Arrow Lakes are a widened portion of the Columbia River, which Rises in the Rocky Mountains and then snakes down through the United States before emptying into the Pacific Ocean. The Wide Water reservoir keeps this area retaining moisture in the local atmosphere and moderate winter temperatures, resulting in an area of rich vegetation.
The parks are popular for fishing, with kokanee, dolly varden, and rainbow trout often passing through its waters. Swimming and boating are also popular uses of the Lakes.
