York Soaring is Canada’s largest and most active gliding club. The association hosts regular barbecues and fundraising dinners, as well as mentoring cross-country flying. There is an active runway at York where gliders and power aircrafts fly circuits on opposite sides, but gliders are given right of way during take-off and landing.
