Austin Sawmill Heritage Park

06

The Austin Sawmill Heritage Park is a gem along the Burnt River to explore Kinmount’s heritage and experience its charm. The Austin Sawmill was once a fixture of the area’s booming lumber industry. The first mill was built on the site in the 1890s and owned by William T. Craig and John Austin.

Come for a visit to investigate the sawmill restoration project and have a picnic, go fishing, kayaking, canoeing, walking along the trail or just being. There are plenty of picnic tables and benches to be had.
