Bamberton Provincial Park is an ideal spot for families with members of all ages. Children can swim in the warm waves where salmon fishers have been fishing for years, while parents can lounge and relax at the inlet or beach area. This park is a forested environment known for its abundant arbutus trees, Canada’s only broadleaf evergreen.
A vehicle-accessible campground is available for visitors to stay in overnight. Canoes and kayaks are allowed in the inlet. Visitors will be able to see wildlife full of eagles, osprey, waterfowl, and seals. Families can also enjoy their lunch on the dozens of picnic tables available. The park’s location is convenient and close to other tourist attractions, such as Malahat Drive and Butchart Gardens.
