This marine research facility is run by the University of Victoria, the University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, and the University of Alberta. BMSC is located on the west coast of Vancouver Island and has access to a wide diversity of coastal, marine, terrestrial, freshwater and rainforest ecosystems. BSMC supports a diverse range of coastal and marine research, training opportunities, courses, and exceptional facilities for undergraduate and graduate students involved in marine and coastal science.
