This annual rodeo has been taking place in Beechy since 1968. Tourists and competitors travel across Canada to participate in this action-packed weekend. Cheer on your favourite cowboy while they compete for a place in the finals for Bull riding, bareback horse racing, team roping, cattle herding and more.
There are several performances, raffles and comedic entertainers, including a high school evening dance and a comedic clown.

Beechy Breakers
Beechy had its first baseball team in 1911 and still plays today! Their season typically starts in early spring and goes until the end of summer. The location and schedule for the players are posted on their team website!

In 1935-36, Beechy had its first hockey team. Following the war, Beechy Bombers became the official name for the team. The first indoor skating rink was built in 1952 at the Beechy Community Hall, and the team continues to practice at the hall today! Their season begins in November and ends in February. They currently stand 7th in their league out of the 12 teams in the division. Their website and Facebook page contain their schedule and game locations.

Test out your curling skills at the Beechy Curling Club! This club hosts many fun spiel events, and competitors can participate on their own, with a partner, or on a coed, men or ladies team. Even if you are not registered on a team, the club hosts many open events and fundraisers where anyone is welcome to participate.

This cozy restaurant serves delicious homemade meals, including breakfast, lunch and dinner! Clark’s is perfect whether you need to pop in for a quick bite or want a sit-down meal with the family. They even have colouring competitions and a food menu for the kids! Clark’s is known for their Klassic Chicken, rumoured to be deliciously battered and made fresh on order.
