Bella Coola Music Festival

July

The Festival began in 1998 when a small group of volunteers felt it would be a joyful way to get the valley’s residents together, and the Discovery Coast Music Festival, as it was first known, was born.

The festival has grown into a widely respected event, incorporating many well-known performers into the line-up while encouraging local talent and youth to participate in all aspects of its production.

Bella Coola Valley Museum

The Bella Coola Valley Museum was established in 1963 to outline the human history of the Bella Coola Valley from European Contact to 1955. The museum’s historic building (circa 1892) operates during the summer (June – September), with school presentations offered throughout the year.
