One of the oldest amenities in the town, the library was opened to the public in 1926 and has since moved and expanded multiple times to finally find a home in a historically significant building in 2000.
8 Woodward, the building, had been a Post Office, Town Hall, Customs Office, Public Health Unit, Courthouse, School Board office and even a jail at different times. Even though it has been renovated, the building reflects the Town’s history and stands as a monument for residents and visitors.
