The Bridgenorth Delicatessen is a local favourite for lunch, and a great spot to pick up a sweet for later. Their irreverent take on deli classics will have you taking pictures for Instagram before you dive in.

The Deli teams up with Kawartha Wholesale Bakery for local buns worthy of their creations. The bakery also supplies the Deli with donuts and fritters.

This local tag-team is a winning combination. Speaking of winning combinations and creative takes on deli classics, how about “The Schnitzel AF”—a made-to-order schnitzel with bacon and old cheddar served on an apple fritter! Or the Mac Attack—a pork cutlet stuffed with house-made mac’n’cheese, topped with bacon (hot peppers optional, but definitely recommended!) all piled on a fresh bun. Get extra napkins. While you’re there, pick up a Steak and Kidney pie for dinner (but act fast, they’re not exactly a best-kept secret).
