The Cultural Center, with its distinctive tipi design and traditional thunderbirds adorning the entryway, is located in the center of the Buffalo Point neighbourhood.
You’re welcome to investigate the Ojibway people of Buffalo Point First Nation’s independent spirit through the architecture, artwork, archival materials, and interpretive displays.
From the 1700s, when Chief Red Cloud and the Sioux frequented the region, until the 1800s when the Ojibwa began to settle there, Buffalo Point has been a gathering place for the Anishinabe people.
