Callaghan’s Rapids Conservation Area

04

This unique spot is a great place to go for a hike or just to enjoy some time in nature. The conservation area makes a great place to stop for a picnic with the family, with several scenic stops along the river.

In the warm months, visitors can swim in the warm, shallow water and even cross over the rapids. There are plenty of birds, wildlife, and native plant species. Just a short walk from the rapids, there is also free parking for visitors.
