Cameron Island Lighthouse is a famous lighthouse located in Orangedale. The lighthouse was built in 1904 and was modified in 1988 to equip it with solar panels so the light would only turn on when needed. The tower is roughly 32 feet high and can be seen from very far away, even with the light turned off. Visitors will be able to see the tower best on the boat. However, there is a roadside park with picnic tables and an area to look at the tower from a distance.
