Initially constructed in 1972, the Canadian Heritage Warplane Museum is a non-profit organization that holds some of the oldest planes used and acquired throughout Canadian history. The aircraft collection ranges from those used by the Canadian military and other Canadians since the beginning of world war II.
For those interested in Aviation, this museum is like a breath of fresh air. The history of airplanes is on full display, with the workers helping you learn about the fine details of the evolution of the aircraft. There are even a few activities for kids, one of them being painting paper airplanes. You can even book flights for yourself and your family in advance! The museum also holds events throughout the year, exhibits, art shows, and guest speakers being some past events. Don’t forget to visit this historical place on Mount Hope!
