The Canadian tractor Museum was initially constructed in 1999 by a board of directors who had constructed a museum to display the various tractors used throughout history by farmers. The evolution of tractors and their use honours the history of Alberta and its farmers.
Not only are tractors displayed, but other equipment and materials used in agriculture and farming are also on display. The museum’s ultimate goal is to preserve the history of farmers and to be able to convey this message simply through physical representations rather than written ones.
