Cape Race Lighthouse is a famous lighthouse recognized as a national historic site. The lighthouse is famous for receiving the first SOS signal sent from the titanic. The lighthouse was built in 1907 and remains active today, with one of the most powerful lights of any lighthouse in the world. Around the lighthouse, visitors can also observe the steep cliffs into the Atlantic Ocean, which is perfect for sunset watching.
