Captain Zodiac Whale Cruise

Fancy a bout of whale watching? It’s not as intimidating as you might think!

As the name suggests, Captain Zodiac Whale Cruise uses 28ft. long fibreglass hull zodiacs, providing a fast but smooth ride. The tubes on these vessels help prevent seasickness by reducing side-to-side motion, and there is zero bouncing near the stern, where seniors are given priority seating. The tours are also safe for small children—infants, even—and are free for kids two-years-old and under!

It is recommended that you book online at least one week in advance—or as early as possible. Make sure to dress in layers so that you can add or remove them at your discretion, and keep in mind that thermal flotation jackets and pants are provided on colder days. The tours usually last about 2-3 hours and are recommended to be taken in the evening, as that is when the ocean is calmer, and thus visibility is higher.

The best part is that there is a full money-back guarantee: If you don’t end up seeing any whales, you’ll get a full refund!
