The Carlisle Community Hall

The Carlisle Community Hall comprises a small brick building built in 1921. The building was initially created to commemorate the town’s soldiers who had fought the first world war. This hall was one of the less than dozen halls developed in Canada after the first world war.

Even today, signs are displayed on the buildings to remind the citizens of those who died in battle. Even today, families share their generational stories and remember those who lost their lives in battle. In addition to these historical aspects, other events are also held in the hall. This includes wedding receptions, birthday parties, etc.
