History

Housed in what was once the Carnegie Library, the Carnegie Gallery was founded by the Dundas Art & Craft Association, a non-profit organization created in 1980. Over 20,000 people visit this popular tourist spot each year. The Carnegie Gallery’s mission statement is to provide opportunities for artists who have yet to gain exposure, promote the works of artists and craftspeople, and make art exhibitions accessible to the community.

With approximately 24 annual exhibitions, it’s exciting to know there will always be something new each time you visit. To keep up with their programs, events, and exhibitions, simply look at their website!
