An urban lush green park in the heart of Sorel-Tracy, Carré Royal is a classified heritage site with a rich history. The location initially served as a place of arms from 1780 to 1860 and was converted into the present-day park in the late 1800s.
The park houses many walking paths lined with mature trees and plenty of greenery. The paths together form a plane which represents the Union Jack. In the winter, the park houses an outdoor ice skating rink. The park is also pet friendly!
