Founded in 1989 by a non-profit organization composed of volunteers, it immediately became a popular hub for friends and families to have fun outings and engage in seasonal hobbies.

Located approximately ten minutes away (by car) from Saint-Irénée, Les Sources Joyeuses is a fantastic addition to your trip. There are cross-country ski trails, snowshoe trails, hiking trails, ice rinks, and tube slides. No need to stuff your car with a bunch of equipment, either—you can simply rent it! If you want to take a break and admire the view, there is an easily accessible mirador that offers a splendid panoramic view of the surrounding mountains, valleys, the St. Lawrence River, and the hinterland villages.
