Chalk River Laboratories is a Canadian nuclear research facility in Deep River. The facility arose out of a 1942 collaboration as part of the Manhattan Project.
You can visit a museum hosted by the Society for the Preservation of Canada’s Nuclear Heritage. Appointments are currently made by appointment only, so be sure to call or visit their website before visiting.
