Atikokan Charleson Recreation Area offers a number of recreational ideas year-round. Located a few minutes North of Atikokan, next to Lake Minnow Pond. This recreational area is great for passive, and adrenaline adventures.

You can go motocross riding on their designated motocross tracks that are open 24/7 to the public. Around the track, there is a picnic shelter, stand seating, and horse stalls. There are also a few 4×4 mud fling tracks that are perfect for riding through during the hot summertime. As well, perfect for snowmobiling during the winter.

Outside of the tracks are trails designated for ones that want to go hiking, mountain bike riding, horse riding, snowshoeing and cross country skiing.
