This conservation area covers 848 acres of natural forest, with plenty of walking trails just for you! The largest conservation area in a natural setting (in Canada), the landscape here is flooded with valleys, wetlands, forests, and grasslands and is located by the locally famous Humber River. You will find many plants and animal species here, such as chipmunks, ducks, and deer.

A popular destination for walkers, bikers, and birdwatchers, Claireville Conservation Area, is open year-round and is absolutely beautiful throughout the seasons. Its features of woodlands and forestry allow the simple beauty of the forest to encapsulate you as you hike through these meandering trails! Don’t forget to pack your bug spray!
