Corner Brook Museum and Archives

07

Featured here are many artifacts from the early days of the Corner Brook exhibit Captain James Cook and the indigenous peoples.

In addition, there is a slide show of Corner Brook scenes from the early 1900s to 2000s, information about leading citizens, and a fascinating exhibit of WWII brides from England and Scotland about how they met their husbands and their reactions to coming to Corner Brook.

Also, natural history exhibits animals, trees, and rocks. The museum is in the oldest building in town but has an elevator. The exhibits are on three floors. There is an accessible entrance from the town hall next door.
