Constructed in 1892 for just $425.20, the Creemore Jail is the smallest in North America. It has served for half a century as a place to lock up lawbreakers and used for petty offenders and temporary holding for more severe crimes until transport.
Creemore jail shows that the title has “a big heart and the smallest jail” belongs to the town.
