The coolest aspect of the park is attributed to the reconstruction of an original log chute on Byers Creek which was used by loggers in the early 1900s. The chute has been reconstructed two times, once in 1973 and then again in 1994.

You will find spaces to swim, enjoy lunch and walk along the shoreline which is mostly grass and rock. There is also a bridge you can walk on to view the water and chutes up close. A beautiful place to stop and visit that will definitely not disappoint.
