Recently opened in New Dundee is the Dundee Arts Collective, a gallery, retail shop and studio space opened by Jenny Miller and Kate Cox to bring artists together and showcase local art. The Collective features unique artists, such as Patti Moses, whose showcased collection diverges from traditional paintings and sketches and focuses on textile arts. Some of the art from her collection, like pillows and heated neck wraps, have been available for sale at the collective. The collective also hosts art classes, including a felted fibre art class and a pottery class.
A recent and very cool addition to the collective is their art vending machine set up outside their studio. If you don’t have time to go inside, you can pick up take-home art kits and small pieces from their vending machine and continue on your way!
