The park is a swooping 30-acre and open all year round to the public. It is adorned with a playground, the Ron Mahoney Memorial Ball Field, and the entrance to Hampton’s portion of the Trans Canada trail! For those wishing to visit in the winter, they have Erb’s Hill, which is a popular winter sliding spot.
People can hike various trails surrounding the park, with varying difficulties to accommodate everyone. Some easier trails include the Great Trail, Erb’s Trail, and Pendergrass Trail. Meanwhile, some more difficult trails near the park are the Haden Hill’s Trail, Wetmore’s Trail, and Coleman’s Trail. All trails are pet-friendly, perfect for a day of cycling or hiking. Spend a day with the family at the park or embrace the local trails!
