This historical and authentic school is located near the shores of the Saint-Laurent (St. Lawrence) River and close to the Centre d’Interprétation du Chemin du Portage. It provides historical and cultural lessons to its visitors, retracing the steps of our ancestors. The presentations and guidebooks recount the portage trails of Notre-Dame-du-Portage. It has received the Prix du Patrimoine, a heritage award for its beautiful restoration and exhibits depicting local history through photos and videos.

There are various activities for people of all ages when visiting École de l’Anse, which include playgrounds, bike rentals, geocaching treasure hunts, music and entertainment, etc. Furthermore, guests can enjoy a sunset concert every Wednesday around 7:30 pm. Take a trip to École de l’Anse to enhance your knowledge of the region’s history and participate in fun activities!
