If adventure is what you seek, and you have the ambition to do it, the Enderby Cliffs Provincial Park has trails that lead to the top of the cliffs.
You will get amazing views like no other when you are 1200 metres above the Shuswap and the North Okanagan region. Not only are there cliffs, but there are also volcanic rocks and fossil sites in the park.
You will also see old-growth Douglas-fir and larch as well as Sagebrush and rabbit brush in the high elevations. This park is also prime habitat for moose, cougar, bobcat, lynx, marten, and grizzlies. There is also a wide variety of birds, including eagles, grouse, and songbirds which you can see playing and soaring through the air below you when at the top of the cliffs.
This park also has spots for fishing on reeves lake and hunting. Proper licenses are required for these activities.
Located only 5km from Enderby, this is one park you don’t want to miss.
