Fairview RCMP Centennial Museum

06

Located in downtown Fairview and originally an RCMP residence, the Fairview RCMP Centennial Museum depicts a typical home from the 1920s, with displays on the main and upper floor, basement and porch.

This museum is filled with artifacts, displays and photos that capture and preserve the history of Fairview and the surrounding area.

The museum was the original RCMP detachment, showing RCMP history and regalia from Members in the area dating from 1929. There are WWI veteran artifacts and historical pictures, early hospital equipment from the ’30s and ’40s on display, and photos of all members of Alberta’s first Legislative Assembly in 1905.
