Juicy-Fruit Orchards

It is important to support small community-based businesses. Rick & Carol Veens, the owners of Juicy-Fruit Orchards, started purchasing the farm in 1986. At the time, it was a potato farm, but Rick began purchasing rootstocks from Holland and planted more and more fruit trees every year until the 100-acre farm was complete.

Today, it has thousands of apple, cheery, plum, peach and pear trees. Fruits and vegetables are handpicked all summer long. Fall brings apple season, which is a busy time at the farm. Be sure to stop by and visit these lovely folks and support their business while enjoying some freshly grown fruit and vegetables.
