Fortune Head Ecological Reserve

04

This beautiful reserve, with exposed low cliffs, represents the geological bond between the Precambrian and Cambrian eras. If you are lucky, you will even see some fossils that represent the first skeletal creatures from 540 million years ago.

There are no built-in walking paths around the reserve. However, you can hike along the coastal barrens for a beautiful view of the cliffs.

Don’t miss the selfie with Fortune Head lighthouse.
