ArtShop

Originally called the Frog Pond Café and Sunset Gallery, this business has integrated itself into the Chéticamp community for over 30 years and has even had celebrity customers such as Alan Arkin and Billy Joel. It became Freya & Thor in 2021 after the current owners, Erin Boyd and Matthew Zeilfelder, made the big—but, according to them, easy—the decision to purchase the lively tourist spot and pack up their things in Bellingham, Washington.

Despite the change in name and owners, Freya & Thor is still a charming café and gallery. It is open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Tuesday to Sunday), so you can drop by at your convenience to choose from a selection of coffees, teas, iced drinks, baked goods, and more! Plus, their collection of folk art is composed of unique, vibrant pieces that are sure to take your breath away.
