Friendship Trail is a 3 km paved path that connects Turner Valley and Black Diamond. Take a stroll and pass several scenic viewpoints, landmarks and rock formations, including the old McPherson coal mine. Along the trail, you will find areas of remarkable history and see the geology that sustained the Turner Valley oilfields boom during the 1920s to 1940s.
As Friendship Trail links Turner Valley and Black Diamond, it is also a great way to explore what both towns offer.
