National Historic Site of Canada

A wide-open view of the gorgeous Kitwanga River valley and a high grassy hill, previously the site of a fortified settlement where the Gitwangak people defended their land in the mid-1700s to 1800s, may be seen at Gitwangak Battle Hill National Historic Site, formerly Kitwanga Fort.

This is a must-see attraction since it provides a beautiful perspective as travellers spend time discovering new sites.
