This wilderness area offers plenty of options for exploring, including camping, hiking, cycling, horseback riding, and swimming in alpine lakes. If you plan to visit in winter, there is backcountry skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling to enjoy. The Park has unique nature, with its template climate making it the only rainforest in interior British Columbia. You may spot some mountain goats, grizzly bears, or rare speckled dace fish protected within the park.
The Granby Provincial Park has much to offer and more serene silence than more frequented provincial parks. You can access the north side of the park by taking Highway 6 west and turning off to Needles at Valley Creek.
