Gypsum Mine Lake is a beautiful lake located near Cheticamp. Around the lake, there are hiking trails, the most famous being the Gypsum Mine Trail. The trail circles the lake and has beautiful views of the lake and its surroundings.

The trail is a 2.6km long loop taking approximately 40 minutes to complete and is perfect for all skill levels of hikers. For fans of the water, once reaching the lake on the hiking trail (approximately 15 minutes), visitors can swim in the lake. The water is clean and is a very popular spot for swimming.
