Haldimand Beach

One of the most aesthetic beaches in the province, this sandy beach is the perfect place for a day out with your family! The water is shallow and perfect for swimming. The view from the beach perfectly captures the scenic Forillon National Park. The beach is free for everyone and is accessible by rue de la Plage. Visitors can also bike here on the 8km path that connects Gaspé to Haldimand. Amenities include free parking, fast food service, picnic areas, play areas for children, toilets and showers. Activities on the beach include kayaking, fishing, pedal boating, paddle boarding, windsurfing, cycling and sailing. Even though the beach is open all year round, it is only supervised and advised to swim in from June to August. June to the end of August. If you plan to visit, don’t miss the annual Haldimand-Gaspé sand castle competition at the end of July!

  1. Hello,
I have come to Gaspé in summer for the past 55 years. This year I made several model train installations on the beach, the videos of which I want to share with your members as this may be a highlight of next year’s sandcastle competition for which I offer to link the castles by rail.

    Greetings

    Michael Larrass
