Their extraordinary hot dogs have been quoted as having Canada’s Best Hot Dog.

The Half Moon Drive-In originally opened in 1938 but had to close its doors in the spring of 1983.

It then reopened its doors at a location that is closer to the historic site of St. Andrews Lock and Dam. The new location is doing everything it can to maintain and continue the high standards that the original restaurant has established.

This location pays homage to its predecessor by having an exterior that replicates the original, continuing the retro theme, Half Moon Drive-In has a 50’s themed atmosphere.

They are known for their memorable hot dogs, burgers, ice-cold Pepsi, homemade fries, and ice cream treats and sweets.

Half Moon Drive-In is not only a perfect family destination for Manitobans but people from all around Canada.
