To shop for some fresh produce, one could visit the Halifax Brewery Market. Open every Saturday morning, this market has a selection of 60 vendors to choose from. It is a not-for-profit cooperative, encouraging local buying and selling, as well as community building. In addition to producing, some vendors have prepared food available for purchase that can be enjoyed along the Halifax Waterfront.
