Ancaster is home to the Hamilton Golf and Country Club. The club was founded in 1894. The 27 holes were created by renowned English golf architect Harry Colt in 1914, with Canadian golf architect Robbie Robinson constructing a third nine in 1974. The course includes a short course as well as a driving range.
