Harmsworth Hall

05

One of the few registered heritage structures in central Newfoundland, Harmsworth Hall has served the community for over 70 years. Designed by architect Douglas Wood and constructed in 1929 by the Anglo Newfoundland Development Company, the Town Hall was the center of much of the town’s recreation.

The hall has a wood frame with a brick exterior.
