Cochrane was established in 1881 as the Cochrane Ranche, after a local rancher Henry Cochrane.
Now Cochrane Ranche is a community park that features all of Cochrane’s Indigenous and Western heritage. You will find a quaint museum in a historic 110-year-old building, a reconstructed corral, and an interpretive trail highlighting the site’s natural and human history. Plus hiking and biking trails, picnic areas, and an interpretive trail.
The highlight of Cochrane Ranche is the Saturday Farmer’s Market!
