Part of Niagara’s Escarpment, the Hockey Valley Nature Reserve is a picturesque reserve filled with many species of wildlife, hiking trails, and open meadows filled with beautiful flowers, trees, and swaps. The hike can normally go on for hours as there are several kilometres to explore.
However, one thing to note about the reserve before visiting is that there are no public or visitor amenities, as it’s meant to preserve the ecosystem. So If you want to go on a long hike with gorgeous views and connect with nature, Hockey Valley Nature Reserve is the way to go.
