Chris Pronger is arguably the best NHL defenseman of all time. Playing over 1100 games, putting up 698 points, winning two Olympic gold medals, a Stanley Cup with the Anaheim Ducks, and a plethora of individual awards, Chris Pronger is the pride of Dryden.

Pronger was born in Dryden to Jim and Eila Pronger, an immigrant from Finland. He grew up playing minor hockey in his hometown.
