Denis Côté is an independent filmmaker and producer who makes experimental films that have gained worldwide recognition at major film festivals.
Côté was born in 1973 in Grand Falls – an agricultural region of New Brunswick. Côté grew up in suburban Longueuil watching horror movies in his parent’s basement before broadening his understanding of film at Collège Ahuntsic in Montreal.
