Donald McNichol Sutherland was one of Canada’s most respected, prolific, and versatile character actors.

Donald spent his teenage years in Bridgewater. As a teenager, at age 14, Sutherland started in CKBW radio station in Bridgewater as a news correspondent and disc jockey.

Donald Sutherland has been in the film industry for six decades and has been in about 200 films and shows. He has won two Golden Globe Awards and has been nominated for eight.
