Pierre-Cédric Labrie is a well-known professional hockey player born in Baie-Comeau in 1986.
As a child, he played in a minor ice hockey league team from Baie-Comeau. As a teenager, he quit hockey for a while before he restarted playing in a weekend league and eventually made it to the NHL.
He debuted with the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2012 before moving to the AHL in 2014. In 2019, he secured a contract with a European German hockey club and stayed there for two seasons. After completing his contract, he returned to the AHL and currently plays for the Syracuse Crunch. He is married to hockey legend Patrick Roy’s daughter, Jana Piuze-Roy.
